The Big Game is Coming...
We are less then a year away from the S.B. coming to the New York / New Jersey market. This will be the first time the game will be played in a cold-weather city. That surely won't deter tri-state NFL fans though, who have braved the frigid winters to support their New York Giants and New York Jets for many years.
Tickets for S.B. XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ are currently not for sale. They will be available as kickoff gets closer to the Feb. 2, 2014 game. Several brokers, however, will allow you to pre-order. Acquiring tickets to the biggest game in sports annually is no easy task. Outside of a random drawing held by the NFL, ticket seekers must purchase passes through travel or ticket agents.
It's important to make sure you are purchasing official tickets offered by the NFL. The league has implemented many security features (holograms, thermachromic ink, etc.) to fight counterfeiting. Ensuring your ticket vendor is reputable can help offer peace of mind.
To be entered in the drawing, requests must be made in writing between Feb. 1 and June 1 of the year prior to that specific game. You can send a letter via certified or registered mail to Super Bowl Random Drawing, P.O. Box 49140, Strongville, OH 44149. Those selected will have the opportunity to buy two tickets.
